This Privacy Policy describes how MetallKontrakt LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website (https://metallkontrakt.com) and use our services. We may periodically update this Policy; the current version is always available on this page.
1. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for your personal information is:
MetallKontrakt LLC
Moskalivska 99, Kharkiv 610 04, Ukraine
Email: a.pronin@metallkontrakt.com
2. Voluntarily Provided Data and Legal Basis
Our website is strictly informational and does not contain registration forms, user accounts, or newsletter subscriptions. We only process personal data (such as your name, email address, and phone number) if you voluntarily provide it to us by sending an email or calling us directly.
The legal basis for this processing is the necessity to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract or the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
3. Server Logs and Hosting
Our website is hosted on the Vercel platform. For the purpose of technical content delivery, network security, and prevention of DDoS attacks, our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical data, including IP addresses.
This processing is necessary for the secure operation of the website and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is not used to track or identify individual users, and server logs are kept by the provider for only 1 hour, after which they are automatically deleted.
4. Web Analytics (Cookie-less)
We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure website traffic. This service is designed with privacy in mind: it does not use cookies, does not collect or store IP addresses, and does not generate personal identifiers. It only aggregates anonymous statistical data to help us understand how our website is used.
5. International Data Transfers and Third Parties
Our servers and operational facilities are located in Ukraine and the United States. We may share necessary technical data with our hosting provider (Vercel) to maintain the website.
When transferring data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, relying on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as well as on our provider's (Vercel) certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Exemption from Appointing an EU Representative
In accordance with Article 27(2)(a) GDPR, we are exempt from the obligation to appoint a representative in the European Union. Our processing of personal data is only occasional, does not include large-scale processing of special categories of data, and does not create a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. For business inquiries and B2B correspondence, this period is up to 3 years after our last contact, unless the law requires a longer retention period.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Under the GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request the correction of inaccurate data, request the deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict the processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@metallkontrakt.com. If you are located in the EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
